Editing Video INTO THE WOODS
In this editing video you'll discover the process behind the portrait of these two beautiful Weimaraners.
Learn how to merge multiple images and apply edits that improve both mood and composition.
To follow along with the video, you'll need a basic understanding of both Lightroom and Photoshop.
Large Aperture Composites
I'll walk you through the exact steps and techniques to create composites of multiple images taken at a large aperture, producing a soft background due to shallow depth of field.
The goal of this technique is to capture those soft backgrounds, while still having both dogs in focus.
You'll learn how to merge the images in Lightroom and create a new RAW-file of the composite to work on.

Post-Processing Techniques
Of course the editing doesn't end there. You'll learn how to apply Lightroom's masking features to optimize light and detail in your image.
Discover how to create a visually balanced image and lead the eye by applying contrast, detail and color adjusments.
I'll also share my Photoshop process to further clean up and improve the image, using tools like content-aware fill and adjustment layers like 'Curves' and 'Hue & Saturation'.
You'll learn how stacking those subtle adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop can make a huge difference for the look and quality of your image.
